Maldives
is a bit far, but definitely worth
the travel if you have the time and
money. There are numerous breaks,
the majority that require the use
of a boat. Lohifushi (pictured) is
a "surfer resort", and the
only resort that has its own break,
called "Lohis". Two surf
dhonis go out in the morning and in
the afternoon to drop surfers off
at the break of their choice. There
is also the option of not staying
at one of the resorts but living on
board a boat for five to seven days
and traveling to different surf locations.
This surf location should be on everyone's
dream sheet!
