SOS Surf Team
Applications are now OPEN!
We’re thrilled to announce the launch of the very first SOS surf team! The team will include up to 12 women and girls (ages 14 and up) competing in local and Southeastern competitions. Longtime SOS member and amazing surfer Chrissy Bush will be coaching the team. Apply today; applications close March 21st!
April Meetup
April 12th | 8am-10am | *Held second Sunday this month due to Easter.
Join us on the north side of the Jax Beach Pier for our next monthly meetup. Bring your board, bring a friend, and come hang! If land activities are more your style, we’ll have buckets and gloves ready for beach clean up, or bring a chair to relax and socialize! We will take our group photo around 8:30am. No need to sign up. This is ALWAYS a free event!
Paddling Clinic
Wave Reading and Paddling Clinic
April 12th | 10am-11am
Immediately following the April meetup, Inna Bell, longtime SOS member and surf retreat designer, will be teaching a surf skills progression clinic. You’ll learn to read waves more confidently, improve your paddling technique, and choose better waves in the lineup. Registration required. Cost per person: $20
Earth Day Beach Cleanup

Beaches Go Green is hosting their Annual Earth Day Cleanup at two locations:
Jax Beach Sea Walk Pavillion
St. Augustine Beach (370 A1A Beach Blvd)
SOS will be supporting volunteers. Come join us and help keep our beaches beautiful.
Sisters & Survivors
May 30th, 2026 | 9am
Our annual Sisters and Survivors event, hosted along with Lesley Curry of Saltwater Cowgirls, is right around the corner! This special event is at the heart of SOS, bringing women who have been impacted by cancer a morning in the surf. Prior surfing experience not required for participants. More details coming soon!
